Back to work.....

going on my 3rd week since the government shut down.....enjoying the time off, will later feel the loss of 3 weeks wages.

All my picture files have shown up..... No idea how to display any of them, but I'd thought I'd lost them.....

Recent visit to the VA. Hospital ....hours of time spent there.  Waiting for the elevator [we were going down] up elevator stopped to drop passengers.  While the car was open the passengers were engrossed in a conversation about Bob.....  Took just a few words from one of the passengers and instantly recognized the voice..... If you've ever watched 12 Monkeys.  The guy on the elevator had that voice.....distinctive.....of the disembodied voice which spoke to Bruce Willis calling him Bob......    I've always said a visit to the VA Hospital is an experience...... Always worth the time.....

  found my favorite place in ruins today..... and I was thinking of going in for some tea.....

Today I went to the doctors office for a new blood glucose meter..... while waiting I observed 3 children waiting with their grandmother...... a boy older age 4 and twin girls age 3..... Little hoodies they wore and one of the twins had hers on upside down..... skipping and playing upside down hoodie threw a fit to get her hands washed, hands were sticky..... Once grandmother and sticky hands walked across the hall to the bathroom for a wash.....the boy who missed the action went into worry mode.....where is grandma? She was only gone a minute..... Young active children..... I hope grandma wasn't too sick ...... Those children made me appreciate life again..... It is too precious to miss.
